Welcome to The Mesolore Project

Advanced Placement World History
Springbrook High School Silver Spring, Maryland

The Mesolore Project (TMP) specializes in researching and publishing interdisciplinary, educational materials on Mesoamerica that aim to enhance the teaching of undergraduate education in the social sciences and humanities. TMP's primary foci are students and teachers of Advance Placement World History (APWH), Advance Placement Spanish (APS) and university-level History, Anthropology, Archaeology, Linguistics and Spanish Letters.

Since the fall of 2001, TMP has offered content materials on a CD ROM set titled Mesolore: Exploring Mesoamerican Cultures. New this year TMP will offer its Mesolore materials on line, along with Lesson Plans and Syllabi as Guides to Classroom Enhancement. These new offerings will happen in phases. APWH materials will be ready by summer 2006. Materials for all targeted classrooms will be up and running by 2007.

Finally, TMP will begin an experimental project at the high school level in ethno-mathematics and ethno-science with the purpose of enhancing Algebra and Earth Science classrooms. Watch for developments.
